Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms & Conditions. By using our service, you are consenting to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

The Service

NetIndie is an online streaming service providing users with access to a variety of independent films ("Content"). Once you have created an account and your payment is successfully processed, you can stream the available content on supported devices.

User Accounts

In order to access the service, you will need to create a NetIndie account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, and you agree to maintain the security and secrecy of your account username and password at all times.

Your NetIndie membership will continue until terminated. You must have a current, valid, accepted method of payment to use the NetIndie service. We will bill the membership fee to your payment method.

Film Submission and Monetization

NetIndie is proud to support and showcase the work of indie filmmakers. The following conditions apply to filmmakers wishing to submit their work:

Subscription Requirement

Filmmakers must maintain an active Filmmakers Canvas subscription to submit films for consideration. This subscription supports the platform and contributes to a sustainable ecosystem for indie filmmakers.

Submission Process

After activating a Filmmakers Canvas membership and completing a filmmaker profile, filmmakers can submit their work through the submission link found on the filmmaker page. This allows filmmakers to submit project descriptions and upload thumbnails for our library.

Accepted Projects

NetIndie accepts a variety of film and video projects for our library. Examples of accepted projects include, but are not limited to:

  • Short films

  • Feature films

  • Web series

  • Episodic programs

  • Reality TV

  • Animation

  • Documentaries

  • Experimental films

  • Movie trailers

  • Music videos

  • Education & Personal development

  • Comedy

  • Podcasts & Talk shows

  • Behind the scenes

  • Concerts & Events

  • Student films

Submission Costs

To submit content, filmmakers need an active Filmmakers Canvas subscription, which costs $4.99. As a member, filmmakers can submit unlimited films for inclusion in the NetIndie library. Films will remain active in the system as long as the membership remains active.

Content Restrictions

NetIndie does not accept content that promotes pornography or propagates hate. We reserve the right to decline any content that raises concerns or incites controversy. Submissions that do not meet our quality standards may also be turned down.

Payment Model

Payment to filmmakers is based on the number of views their projects attract. NetIndie apportions 20% of total subscriber revenue each month, based on the number of views within our system. This model ensures fair revenue distribution to our filmmakers.

Additional Benefits

Projects featured in the NetIndie library may also be considered for the NetIndie Awards and our international NetIndie film festivals. These events offer recognition, audience engagement, and networking opportunities with fellow filmmakers.
